More Sense of What It’s All About.

We had another fantastic night for our latest Meet Up & Networking event on 24th July 2019! We had a great turn out of local women who came out in the heat to catch up with friends and meet new people in their neighbourhood.

On the night, local author Anj Cairns again collated for her crowd sourced poetry (see the result below) and presented a Tottenham Quiz, and local poet Louise Goodfield performed her amazing spoken word. We also heard from a range of women updating us about things in the community. And of course, The Bluecoats were the ultimate host again. The next one is in the planning... in the cooler months!

Photos from the networking event featuring Rachel Ho, Anj Cairns and Louise Goodfield. Also the Quiz Anagrams and the crowd sourced poem on a t-shirt.

I started to get more sense of what it’s all about.

My cat opens the fridge.

He smiles all the time

As if to say

I’m the oat mylk monitor.

He stands on top of the fridge and pushes

And declares

‘We need a low traffic neighbourhood’.

My cat opens the fridge.

He smiles all the time

As if to say

There’s a space for everyone.

He stands on top of the fridge and pushes

And declares

‘They all eat themselves like cannibals’.

My cat opens the fridge.

He smiles all the time

As if to say

You should just sleep in a coffin.

He stands on top of the fridge and pushes0

And declares

‘It’s really fun’.

My cat opens the fridge.

He sells you wine and smiles all the time

As if to say It’s expensive, isn’t it?

He stands on top of the fridge and pushes

And declares ‘I’m pretty strong on beer and cheese and Soffles’.

My cat opens the fridge

I started to get more of a sense

Of what it’s all about.

I read about it.

I know how to spell it.

You see, I used to be a guardian angel.
