Everyone has to eat, right? There's a growing number of food start up businesses in Tottenham and we caught up with six local ladies who are leading the way!

Your most recommended dish / product:

Satay chicken burgers.

Tasties is a West Indian Bakery that does wicked jerk chicken nom!

2. Sophie Harvey : Soffle's Pitta Chips


Describe your business in a sentence: All natural pitta chips, made with fresh ingredients then oven roasted with olive oil, at their best with beers and dips!


Your most recommended dish / product: Our WILD Chilli and Garlic pitta chips are the original and favourite flavour for me but as we have now branched out into pitta nachos this is now my most recommended dish! Made by grilling cheese on Pitta chips with jalapeños, then served with refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, lime and coriander!


Favourite place to eat in Tottenham: It's a tie! I Love it in El Botellon Tapas on the highroad for Colombian but then LOVEN is also a favourite spot.

Describe your business in a sentence: Vegan patisserie serving delicious whole food  cakes and savoury products, the majority of which are gluten free and refine sugar free. 


Your most recommended dish / product: Raw snicker bars and carrot cake which is gluten and refine sugar free, finished with a macadamia and cashew frosting.

Describe your business in a sentence: Cheese, cheese toasties & chit chats, over some wine if we can help it. 


Your most recommended dish / product: The cacio e pepe toastie has developed quite the following already.  It's a cheese and black pepper blend that's spicy and stretchy and cheesy! 


Favourite place to eat in Tottenham: There's so many great places in Tottenham. I love Pueblito Paisa on a warm summer evening, I like Kata at The Fountain for delivery, and the weekend is always great down at Craving Coffee and Five Miles as there's always someone new popping up.
